White Chalk

Very quick alchemy sketch of an image in my head to get it out of my head. Might come back to it and do something with it, might not. Implementation a bit rubbish right now, but I might stick with the idea.

"Dorset's cliffs meet at the sea / Where I walked unborn child in me / White Chalk, poor scattered land / scratched my palms, there's blood on my hands" - PJ Harvey, White Chalk

Dorset's coast is also called which "consists of Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous cliffs, spanning the Mesozoic Era, documenting 180 million years of geological history" (Wikipedia).

The whole White Chalk album has a haunting sense of being about a lost child and a feeling of guilt or self-torture. It's spooky.
